Livio Sarandrea, Lead Advisor and Team Leader of B+HR Asia

Livio Sarandrea is a Human Rights lawyer with 20 years of field experience in Southeast Europe, Africa and Asia, Livio has advised and managed programs on Business and Human Rights, in support of National Human Rights Institutions, Access to Justice, Conflict Prevention, Transitional Justice and Security Sector Reform for OSCE, DPKO/OHCHR and UNDP.

Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Business and Human Rights Specialist

Harpreet has over 15 years of experience with a decade exclusively on business and human rights, highlighting corporate’s human rights impacts in Asia. Additionally, she has an extensive project management experience with a demonstrable record of research, advocacy and communications on thematic areas such as gender, governance, conflict resolution & peace building.  Harpreet previously held senior leadership and management positions at Ashoka University, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, Conciliation Resources, BBC Media Action and consulted with various international organizations. She has spoken at various national, regional and international forums and published both in national & international media.

Sean Lees, Business and Human Rights  Specialist

Sean Lees is a lawyer and human rights specialist, with a background in trade policy and humanitarian affairs. Prior to his admission to legal practice, Sean worked for the Pacific Basin Economic Council and the East-West Center on Asia-Pacific trade and investment issues. He then expanded his field of interest, working with refugees and displaced populations as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, and then as a programme manager for the International Rescue Committee. Sean joined the United Nations in 2007 where he focused primarily on rule of law programming in Africa, Asia and the Pacific.

Sophia Areias, Responsible Business Partnership Specialist

Prior to joining UNDP, Sophia was the Senior Business Integrity Programme Manager with Transparency International Cambodia, where she worked with the private sector to promote anti-corruption and responsible business. Sophia also taught international business law at the National University of Management in Phnom Penh. She is a qualified lawyer in the District of Columbia and previously worked as a Policy and Legal Adviser to companies at a governmental affairs firm in California.

Victoria de Mello, Regional Project Coordinator

Victoria de Mello is a justice advocate and lawyer with 5 years of field experience, Victoria has managed human rights training programs for youth in Latin America and Eastern Africa and consulted for numerous NGOs on youth empowerment for civic engagement, with a special focus on women and girls.

Anna Keller, Communications and Knowledge Management Officer

Anna has experience in supporting the communications activities of national and international non-profit, for profit and governmental organizations. She led the development of online communications and knowledge management platforms for humanitarian foundations, research institutes and UN entities. Holding a master’s degree in Communication and English language and literature, Anna is passionate about finding innovative ways of sharing information in an easy-to-access way. 

Dollaporn Intrroong (Pim), Programme Support Management Consultant

Dollaporn has 14 years of experience in not-for-profit and international development organizations. In her previous roles at Oxfam, she provided a wide range of business support to various programme thematic areas including policy & advocacy, food, gender, urban, economic empowerment, inequality and humanitarian assistance.   

Kevin Lehmann, Project Officer Consultant

Kevin is an avid reader and enjoys conducting research. Prior to joining UNDP, he advocated for action on business and human rights as part of a non-governmental organization, gained private sector experience on human rights in international supply chains, conducted research on corporate responsibility for a pro-bono legal research project, and worked for an environmental technology start-up. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Laws in International Business Law from Leiden University, studied business administration at Monash University, and is currently writing his thesis for a Master of Laws in Globalisation and Law at Maastricht University.
